Thanks for taking the time and patience to explain all this to me =D.

Anyway, this forum looks pretty dead.lol

Not sure what you mean about dhcp. DHCP need to be on in the speedtouch. I said that in effect that it must be working as a full router.

If you have the dhcp turned on in the linksys then you don't have it on in the speedtouch. A network cannot run two dhcp servers. The speedtouch will find another dhcp server and turn itself off. THis isn't the way you should run it.

And yes it does seem to only occasionally get queries. NZ is a long way from anywhere and out of the time zones. So I don't keep an eye. When I do I find I am the main person. Need to get a life!! LOL!

Got a new problem. i can't access the internet with my PSP now. It gives either a DNS server error message or Obtaining IP Address progress timed out. Do you have a clue or how to solve it? My other computer which connects using WIFI is working properly though.

I use 3 days time to solving this problem, but still can't very tired, hope some seniors can come to help me.
im in singapore and the modem had configured by local isp starhub.
what i want to do is i have a website host by my pc, i use XAMPP, inside have apache etc.. the http://localhost is running no problem in the pc, however, it just can't forward out, i mean port -80. I read alot of articles about this but not help, and also im not IT people, just a student.
the problem is exactly like once i enter the external ip 66.xx.xx.xx, in normal condition it should be open my host website, but now no matter what i changed, it straigtly going to the speedtouch management setup page, must enter password, then go to the setting menu, means it can't to the apache server page, can any heros tell me how to do that, i will very appreciate and hope this also can help others
