Changing the IP address of a STPRO / ST570
If you require to setup the SpeedTouch PRO / SpeedTouch 570 Router on to an existing network that requires a specific address range besides that of 10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.254, you will need to change the IP address of the router and the IP address range which it supports.
Instructions on how to change the IP address of the router can be downloaded in word document format by clicking here, otherwise the instructions in HTML follow:These instructions are for all versions of firmware and is based around achieving a target IP address range of 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254, with the router having the IP address of 192.168.1.1.
Instructions:1. Browse to the Router on the 10.0.0.138 address.
2. Go to PPP
4. Go to DHCP
5. Go to Advanced
6. Change the DHCP Address Pool.
7. Click Apply
8. Go to Initial Setup
9. Change the IP address and subnet mask to the new addresses.
10. Click Apply
11. Click Save All.
12. Browse to the Router on its new IP address to confirm changes.
13. Go to PPP and turn the status back on
14. Click Apply.
15. Click Save All
