Hardware Resetting the SpeedTouch PRO / 510r3 / 610
If you require to access your SpeedTouch Router but cannot
remember your security username/password, or need to erase a
configuration you may need to perform a hardware reset.
The necessary instructions in HTML follow:
| 1 |
Make sure the SpeedTouch is powered off. |
| 2 |
Put dip switch #4 on the back of the router into the up
position. |
| 3 |
Turn the router on. |
| 4 |
Wait for 1 minute. |
| 5 |
Place dip switch #4 back to the down position. |
| 6 |
The SpeedTouch will now be in its
factory default settings.
Resetting the system to its factory defaults also involves
deleting the configuration
profile settings. You will need to reconfigure the system
using the SpeedTouch Setup wizard (510 / 610) or by
re-entering you ISP info in the PPP configuration page
(PRO). |
Note: We take no responsibility for any damages / information
loss that may be done in the process of a Hardware Reset. |
