Setting up a SpeedTouch 510v4 / 530 Router on MAC
OS9

Click on the ' Apple' in the upper left corner of your screen

Select ' Control Panels'

Select ' TCP/IP'

Click on the ' Apple' in the upper left corner of your screen

Select ' Control Panels'

Select ' TCP/IP'

Set the TCP/IP settings to:
Connect via: Ethernet
Configure: Manually
IP address: 10.0.0.1
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
Router address: 10.0.0.138
Close and save these settings

Open your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).

Type 10.0.0.138 in the address bar and press Enter

Click on the the ' Advanced'
menu on the left side of the page

Click on ' Setup'

Click on ' Browse'

Select the CD-Drive

Open the 'fscommand' folder

Select the file 'NZ_RTPPPoA_napt_dhcp_dns.ini'

Click ' Open'.

The file name should now be in the textbox next to 'Browse'

Click on ' Upload'

The message below should appear

Click on 'Accept'

Click on the ' Basic'
menu on the left side of the page

Click on 'Connect' under the 'Basic' menu

Click on ' Disconnect'

Ensure that the Link and State are idle and down respectively

Enter your ISP username and password in the textboxes provided

Click on ' Connect'

Ensure that the Link and State are connected and up respectively (if they
are not, there may be an error with the username or password, so click
'Disconnect' and try again)

Click ' Save
All' and close then screen

Set the TCP/IP settings to:
Connect via: Ethernet
Configure: Using DHCP server
Close and save these settings
You should now be connected
