Speedtouch Router Installation for Mac

Once the on-site wiring has been completed and the 3 lights on the router are on and steady the router must be configured with the correct connection type, VPI/VCI settings and the account username and password.

This can be achieved in a few different way, firstly with the setup wizard on the CD, secondly using the easy setup wizard built into the router, and lastly by manually uploading a configuration file into the router via the web interface.

Instructions:

Built-in Easy Setup Wizard:

1. Open your web browser (e.g. Safari / Internet Explorer)

2. In the address bar type in '10.0.0.138' and press Enter

3. This should open the router configuration page as below

4. Click on 'Advanced' menu on the left side of the page

5. Click on 'Easy Setup'. This will open the easy setup wizard on the router. If the wizard does not pop up, type 10.0.0.138/ewizard.htm into the address bar.

6. Click on 'Next'

7. Select the 'Routed PPPoA-DHCP-NAPT' service and click 'Next'

7. Select the VPI/VCI value of 0.100 and click 'Next'

8. Enter your username and password as given to you by your ISP and click 'Next'

9. Enter a security username and password for the router. This is optional and the username and password entered here is completely user defined. Click 'Next'

10. The wizard should then list all the setup details you have entered. Click 'Start' to start Configuring the router.

11. Once the wizard has completed the setup you will be able to click on 'Finish'

The Setup should now be complete, you should have 3 green lights on the router and be able to surf the internet.
